It is conveniently placed with links to both Milton Keynes and Bedford, 10 minutes from the M1 and 15 minutes from the A1 motorway. Acorn Cottage is a pleasantly appointed chalet bungalow situated at the very heart of Wootton, with a pleasant garden and ample off road parking. ACCOMMODATION With two double bedrooms and a single bedroom, all the accommodation is both spacious and comfortable. All bedrooms are equipped with colour TV , radio and study facilities. Tea, coffee etc is always available. |
| LOCATION As Wootton lies between the M1 and A1 motorways, Acorn Cottage is conveniently situated for easy access to Bedford and Milton Keynes. London is an hour away by train from either of these towns as both have mainline stations. London - Luton Airport is a mere 45 minutes from the front door to Check In by road and there are trains from Bedford to the airport station hourly. Cambridge is 40 minutes away. Cranfield University and it's associated flying schools and business park are a 10 minute drive. |
| LOCAL PLACES OF INTEREST HISTORIC BEDFORD with it's beautiful river and embankment provides a large variety of eating and drinking opportunities in it's numerous Pubs, Bars and Restaurants.  WOBURN SAFARI PARK and ABBEY - a stately home and adventure park situated close to the pretty village of Woburn.  MILTON KEYNES has one of Britain's largest indoor shopping malls. It also boasts an indoor Ski Centre with real snow, two multi-screen cinemas, an Ice Rink and at least two 10-pin bowling venues. There is also a fantastic theatre and art gallery.
