Duxford Lodge Hotel, built in the early part of the 1900s as a private house still retains some of its grandeur. All fifteen bedrooms are individually decorated to a high standard. Surrounded by beautifully kept and secluded gardens, the sweeping drive takes you past the sun terrace to the four garden rooms, two of which have four-poster beds, standing where the stables of yesteryear were built. Also with fine views of the grounds is Le Paradis Restaurant which has won many accolades from the AA, RAC and English Tourist Board. When visiting the Lounge Bar, decorated with many pictures of aeroplanes and fighter pilots, you can imagine the frequent visitors during the last World War which included Winston Churchill, Douglas Bader and Bing Crosby in their number. The Duxford Lodge Hotel is easily found just two minutes from J10 of the M11 and a twenty minute drive to Stansted Airport to the South and the City of Cambridge to the North. The famous Imperial War Museum is also just two minutes from the picturesque village of Duxford.

Accommodation The Duxford Lodge Hotel has fifteen bedrooms, all decorated to a high and individual standard. All rooms are en suite and have remote controlled television, clock/radio, trouser press, hair dryer, and hospitality trays including tea and coffee. First floor rooms are available leading onto the gardens. Two of these are executive rooms with four poster beds. Two of our executive rooms in the main house are ideally family rooms.

Restaurant We think your stay would be incomplete if you did not indulge yourself in our award-winning Le Paradis and Petit Paradis Restaurants. Overlooking the gardens, Le Paradis has a lovely ambience and gracing the walls are paintings of birds of paradise and scenes from exotic places. The soft furnishings and relaxed atmosphere of our lounge bar, mixed with drawings and paintings of aircraft from yesteryear, will help you to unwind and relax during your stay.

Meetings & Conferences The Duxford Lodge Hotel, is ideal for quieter, away from it all style meetings set in its own well-tended informal gardens with ample car parking, yet in close proximity to Cambridge City Centre / Science Park, M11 (two minutes to J10), Stansted Airport (approx 20 minutes). Duxford Lodge can provide a choice of two rooms for your important meeting / heads together, sales meetings, training sessions, private dinners, executive conference or more social gatherings. Our main room, which is air-conditioned, can seat 20 delegates board-room style and up to 30 theatre style. Also available, our luxury heated marquee set in informal gardens giving a setting of tranquillity and contemplation, seats up to 100 delegates. Information and rates are available on request. We offer half day, full day and 24 hour conference facilities plus the flexibility to provide tailor-made arrangements for your delegates. Daily Conference Tariff : £32 per delegate Ideal for the non residential meeting, this rate includes coffee on arrival, mid morning coffee and pastries, a working buffet lunch served in the meeting room or two course light lunch and coffee in Le Paradis Restaurant, afternoon tea and shortbread, hire of meeting room equipped with iced water, cordials, mints, paper, pencils, and flip chart. 24 Hour Conference Tariff : £127 per delegate This includes the Daily Delegate Rate plus en suite accommodation at sole occupancy, three course dinner with coffee in Le Paradis Restaurant, Full English Breakfast. Dinner may be taken in a private dining room. If an executive room is required, a supplement will be added. The main Conference Room is usually only let for a minimum of 10 persons. Weddings Duxford Lodge Hotel and Restaurant is set in beautifully maintained and landscaped gardens making it the ideal venue for weddings. Our recently acquired licence means that couples are now able to hold their entire wedding ceremony in our comfortable and attractive surroundings. We pride ourselves in the service we offer whether your numbers are in the 40s and held in our Le Paradis Restaurant or 100 and using the facilities of our luxury heated marquee. To enable each wedding to be specially tailored to suit your individual requirements, you will receive the attention of a dedicated member of staff to assist you through all aspects of the planning of your special day. Both Le Paradis Restaurant and our marquee overlook the pretty and colourful gardens, ideal for photographs and receiving your guests with a glass of Champagne. To help your day to be a memorable one, we offer the bride and groom a complimentary honeymoon suite with breakfast and can assist in the preparation of place cards, table plans, and colour scheme to match your own. We can also offer the use of our silver cake stand and knife. For your friends and family who have travelled to be with you we offer a special discount on their accommodation and our Petit Paradis private room is ideal for a get-together with families before the wedding day.
