Dartmouth and England's oldest town Totnes are a short bus or car ride away and both Paignton & Torquay are within easy commuting distance. Brixham is famous for its fresh fish and close to the Larorna are a number of fish restaurants and eateries.
Brixham has a number of beaches including Breakwater Beach located near Brixham harbour, this is a pebbly beach, ideal shallow paddling for the kids, going out to deeper water for scuba diving.
