Manor Farm is a beautiful 17th century farmhouse, and may be found nestling in the quiet village of Alderton near the Church. The village is peaceful and completely unspoiled, with delightful cottages and gardens and a lovingly tended duck pond. |
| Home to the Lippiatt family, the house offers warmth and comfort coupled with high standards in a relaxed setting. The lovely bedrooms, each with private bathrooms, are spacious and well equipped and they enjoy views across the garden and fields beyond, or to the stable yard. This is a working farm with some 550 acres of arable crops. |  |
  | Although we enjoy absolute peace and quiet, Alderton is only 4 miles from junctions 17 and 18 of the M4. We are 20 minutes by car from Bath, Bristol and Swindon, making this the ideal place for people working or travelling in this area. The well known towns and villages of Malmesbury, Tetbury, Chipping Sodbury, Badminton, Castle Combe and Lacock are all within a short drive away. |
| Whilst we do not serve dinner here, there are within a few minutes drive, a selection of super English country pubs and restaurants, all of which boast high standards of food and wine. |   |
