| The Manor House is a large stone built house (circa 1700) having a great deal of charm and character. You will be assured of receiving a warm welcome at this bed and breakfast, which carries a 4 star Tourist Board listing. Located in the hamlet of Fenwick, Northumberland, just off the A1 south of Berwick-upon-Tweed, it is only three miles from Holy Island and the beautiful heritage coast. St Cuthbert's Way passes our gate and you can retrace the footsteps of the famous monk to Holy Island. Whilst staying with us why not visit some of the many local castles and country houses. Enjoy walking, golfing, horse riding and bird watching. Alternatively you could ride the cycle route, which passes the Manor House. The spectacular Alnwick Gardens and Alnwick Castle (which appeared in the Harry Potter films) are only a short drive south of us. A forty minute train journey from Berwick-upon-Tweed will take you to Edinburgh for the day. The Border towns of Coldstream and Kelso are just thirty minutes away in the car. All in all - we offer an ideal base for touring the area. |
