| Rita and Michael Knight welcome you to their newly restored Georgian mill house. Next to the peaceful garden the mill stream flows under one end of this listed building and on into the River Brue. All rooms are furnished to the highest standards with en-suite bath or shower and colour television. We look forward to greeting you either as short term guests for bed and breakfast in the main house or, for longer term visitors, as guests in the self contained flat in the old mill. Mill House is perfectly situated for all kinds of holiday. For short breaks we are just over two hours drive from London. Relax in our peaceful garden, even do a spot of fishing without leaving the grounds. Walk or cycle for miles in beautiful countryside and enjoy birding on the panoramic Somerset levels. |

| There are excellent pubs and restaurants offering good food in the surrounding villages and Somerton, former capital of the ancient kingdom of Wessex. A few miles from Mill House is mystical Glastonbury, the Isle of Avalon at the foot of the Tor where the mythical King Arthur once ruled the land. Follow the historical trail of King Alfred who defeated and then made a lasting peace with the Vikings. |

| The beautiful cities of Wells and Glastonbury are nearby. Bath with its cultural attractions and stylish shopping is only 30 miles away. Clarks Village, with its factory outlets, is close by. For a day out, the sandy beaches of Dorset or the funfair atmosphere of Weston-super-Mare are an hour's drive from Mill House. |
| Mill House is easy to find. By car: Leave the A303, the main London-South West road, at the junction with the A37 (Podimore roundabout). Take the A37 towards Bristol and Frome for about 4 miles until you enter Lydford-on-Fosse. At the crossroads in Lydford turn left onto the B3153 clearly sign-posted towards Somerton.After 1 mile you enter Keinton Mandeville. Slow down! Turn right at a building with signs on the side marked Coombe Hill and Mill House B&B. Continue down Coombe Hill for one mile. At the T-Junction turn right toward Baltonsborough (not Barton St David). Mill House is the first house on the right. By Rail: Ten minutes from Castle Cary (1.40 h from London Paddington). Car hire available. |
