| In the village of Pantperthog, just a couple of miles north of Machynlleth (the ancient capital of wales) and 200 yards away from the Centre for Alternative Technology, is Llwyngwern guest House. Set back from a quiet lane, the house is surrounded by 4 acres of grounds which are very attractively laid out. The gardens are a real delight in May when the Azaleas are in full bloom. The house was built in the mid 1700's and was once the home of the Marchioness of Londonderry. |

It is a spacious, high ceiling property, with a charming interior which preserves many original features while offering every comfort to guests. There is a large visitors TV/reading lounge and spacious breakfast room.![]() In all there are 9 guest rooms, of which 2 are en suite. |
