![]() | The Savoy was built in the mid 1840s as a large private residence for a wealthy local business man, during this time its was known as Melrose House and only became the Savoy Hotel when the family moved out in the 1930s. The building occupies a prime elevated position on the sea front and offers fabulous uninterrupted views across the Wyre Estuary towards the hills of the Lake District, which form a stunning backdrop. |
| The Savoy is a family run hotel where guests are assured of the highest standards of care and service from the resident proprietors. Our accommodation consists of tastefully decorated and furnished, centrally heated double/single and twin rooms all of which have colour televisions, tea/coffee making facilities, alarm clocks and either bath or shower en suites. All rooms are non-smoking. |

| The hotel has a fully licensed restaurant which offers a wide and varied choice of dishes all prepared under the personal supervision of the resident proprietor, (special dietary needs can be catered for on request). |

| Our well stocked residents bar offers a large selection of draught/bottled beers and spirits and is the ideal place in which to unwind either singly or in the company of friends.
