Open all year round, THE SHERWOOD HOTEL is a friendly 25-bedroom hotel with that personal touch that so often has been forgotten at many hotels.We provide those important little extras such as hairdryers, newspapers and early morning calls.  Our position is one of the finest on the Promenade, with an uninterrupted panoramic view over the Irish Sea. We are nestled in the quieter end of the town, close to Gardens and Park areas and the North Shore Golf Course. We are far enough from the town centre to ensure peace and quiet, yet within walking distance of the shops, piers, Blackpool Tower, the Theatres and the Nightlight of Blackpool's Golden Mile. For those who prefer to ride the famous trams and frequent buses, both of these are available just outside to take you to the Pleasure Beach, Sandcastle and further afield to Cleveleys and Fleetwood Market and Freeport Shopping Village. |
The Lounge Relax in our elegant lounge with views of the Promenade, Irish Sea and the famous Illuminations or just watch the world go by.  Here you can take Morning Coffee or Afternoon Tea and try some of our homemade cakes and pastries. We offer a large selection from our Snack Menu, which is available from early morning to late in the evening. The Sherwood Bar Meet here for your favourite drink in our cosy bar and chat over the day's events with friends old and new. On those hot summers evenings sit outside on our Continental Style Terrace and have the barmen bring your drinks to your table.  We have a good selection of beers, spirits and liqueurs from which to choose. |
Our Dining Room Our licensed Dining Room, with beautiful sea views, is very comfortable and tastefully decorated. We serve first class food with a choice of menu to suit all tastes. Quality and quantity are so important to all of us. Our Menu, which changes daily, offers a wide selection to please all. Vegetarian and Special Diets are catered for and your special requests are always given the utmost attention.  With your meal, have a drink from our Bar or select a bottle of wine from our Wine List. We aim to provide elegant dining with white linen tablecloths and friendly service. The Bedrooms Our choice of tastefully decorated bedrooms have central heating, crisp white linen sheets with continental duvets, colour television, shaver points, also tea and coffee making facilities.  All rooms have a private bathroom with shower and toilet and some have the additional benefit of a full size bath.Rooms at the front of the building have magnificent views of the Fylde coastline and sunken gardens.
