Stable Cottage centres round a large L shaped room that incorporates sitting, dining and kitchen areas. From the sitting area, which has a log burning stove and colour TV there are French windows leading to an enclosed garden. There are two bedrooms, one double, one twin and a bathroom. It is fully equipped with automatic washing machine, electric cooker, microwave, fridge freezer, cot and garden furniture. Dogs are accepted.

The Location
We are situated 7 miles south east of Cheltenham, close to the village of Compton Abdale, ½ mile from the A40. London, Devon, Wales are 2½ hours traveling time on major routes. Oxford, Bath, Stratford, 55 minutes. Birmingham and Bristol International Airports approximately 1 hour. A car is essential as public transport is not available.

Arrivals and Departures
Bookings are from Saturday to Saturday. Possession is from 4pm on day of arrival to 11am on the day of departure

Electricity and Fuel
Logs for the stove are supplied at additional cost, £3.50 per basket. Electricity is charged at the rate of 8p per unit calculated by reading the meter at the end of your stay; night storage at 3p per unit.

Dogs
The charge for a dog is £12.00 per week payable on departure

Breakages
Breakages are charged at cost of replacement and are charged at the end of your stay.

Smoking
Smoking is not permitted in the bedrooms

Linen
Linen and towels are included in the hiring charge.

Cleaning
Cleaning materials are provided and visitors are expected to leave the cottages in the same condition as they find them. A cleaning service is available at an extra charge of £10.00 if any visitors wish to make use of it, please notify us in advance





Bookings

Ring +44 (0)1242 890263. State the date of your holiday and which property you require. A provisional booking will be made and held for four days. This reservation will be confirmed upon receipt of your completed booking form and deposit.

Booking and Conditions

The booking contract will be made between the guest and the property owners Mr and Mrs. A.T.K. Smail and these booking conditions will form the booking contract.

Photographs and descriptions are as accurate as we can make them at the time of printing but no liability is accepted for discrepancies and small changes that may have to be made from time to time.

Cancellation

Once a booking is confirmed the holiday maker is liable for the whole amount of the balance of the cost of the holiday. Mrs. Smail must be notified immediately of any cancellation and will endeavour to re-let the accommodation and if successful all monies less the deposit will be refunded. For your protection we strongly recommend taking out insurance to cover all risks, including cancellation.

Liability

The holiday maker undertakes to pay all charges for electricity, fuel and other services supplied to the premises during the let.

The cottage may not be occupied by more than the maximum number of persons stated in the brochure. The owners reserve the right to refuse admittance if this condition is not observed.

Guests who accept bookings agree and acknowledge that the property owners are not liable for damage or injury to property or persons in connection with such holidays or arising directly from acts of God, or hazards of water, fire mechanical breakdown or other cause whatsoever, nor can they accept any responsibility for loss or additional expenses due to delays, sickness, weather, strikes, war, animals farming activities, or acts of government or any other authorities or due to any other cause.

A holiday confers upon the holiday-maker the right to occupy the property only for a holiday. Section 9 of the Rent Act 1997 applies. Guests who make a reservation undertake to comply with the booking conditions and all terms specified in the brochure.
