The Swan provides some of Suffolk's most elegant accommodation. Medieval wall paintings were uncovered some years ago and were an influence on the new decorative style. Natural fabrics, including linen curtains and bedspreads, and wool rich upholstery and carpets have been used throughout.![]() All of the 49 en-suite bedrooms are enchanting and tastefully furnished in a style befitting their own unique character. Linen sheets, feather pillows, rich fabrics and traditional furniture make our rooms extremely inviting and ensure a good night's sleep. For those looking for something a little special, there are four poster bedrooms, in addition to the Constable suite, which provides a mezzanine retreat allowing you to really get away from it all. All rooms have colour television, tea and coffee making facilities, trouser press, hair dryer, iron and ironing board and a modem point. |
At the Swan, we have a passionate enthusiasm for offering guests good food, served in warm and elegant surroundings. Our brigade of chefs relish the opportunity of using their own imagination and flair and source fresh produce from local Suffolk and Norfolk suppliers to produce menus which are intensely flavoured, yet unpretentious and the varied wine list is designed to compliment a wide variety of meals and occasions.![]() ![]() |
