Welcome to Vida's B&B!
We are situated a short walk from the medieval market town of Old Amersham, with its inns and restaurants, nestling in the lovely wooded Chiltern Hills. We are only 1 mile from the train station and only 35 minutes from Central London on the Metropolitan Rail line and in the other direction 30 minutes to Aylesbury.
Our B&B is very accessible with off-road parking, easy access to the M25 and M40, and for walkers, close the the South Bucks Way. Other local attractions are the Chiltern Open Air Museum, Windsor Castle, many National Trust properties (including Waddesdon Manor), Miltons Cottage, the Roal Dahl Museum and Chenies Manor.
You can sit outside in our lovely self-sufficiency garden and admire the flowers and wildlife.
Our home is a modern, environmentally-friendly house with rain water harvesting for the toilets and solar hot water panels to warm the hot water for your showers. The house has been recently completely renovated and the rooms are bright, fresh and modern.
Most importantly, our breakfasts are second to none! Home made bread and preserves and eggs from our chickens down the garden. And if you are lucky, you may be able to take home a jar of jam or pickle if we have been making it! |
