| Steve, Heather and family extend a warm welcome, and invite you to be guests in our luxuriously decorated and furnished home, situated just over a mile from Poole, with easy access to Ferries. The magnificent bedrooms are en suite, with the four poster featuring a corner 'spa' bath. Full English breakfast is served from 6 am onwards, cooked fresh to order. Excellent home cooked dinners available including fresh 'locally caught' fish. Situated opposite the Guest House is the viewpoint picnic area, with superb views over Poole Harbour and Purbeck Hills.Other places of interest include the famous Poole Pottery, Aquarium, Museums, Arts Centre, Compton Acres Gardens and the splendid golden beaches of Sandbanks. In the Poole Quay area there are Harbour Boat Rides, plentiful eating choices and shops 1. Open all Year 2. Car Parking 3. We regret that smoking is not permitted inside the Guest House, but is allowed in the garden. |
We are pleased to announce the recent refurbishment and expansion of our Guesthouse with extra rooms and a new look. We have endeavoured to keep the feel from before the renovation and hope that you will enjoy the improvments to make you stay with us as comfortable as possible.
The Four Poster en-suite room is the ultimate in luxury and comfort. It features a magnifcent Four Poster bed. The en-suite features both a corner bath and shower.
As part of our recent refurbishment, we have updated our superb family suite. There are two bedrooms and an en-suite bathroom. The main accomodation includes a double bed.
There is also another room with three single beds. This accommodation is perfect for a family break of the highest quality. Viewpoint is currently taking enquires for the family suite and you can complete our online enquiry form on our homepage stating that you wish to enquire about the family suite. We have a superb dining area where we serve Full English Breakfast from 6am. We also can provide home cooked dinners with locally caught fish.
We want you to enjoy your stay as much as possible and therefore every detail, including the quality of food is taken much care over. | |||||||||||
We are situated about 1 mile from the centre of Poole and about 3 miles from the centre of Bournemouth.  If you are approaching from the centre of Poole, you can exit the main roundabout in the town centre at the Longfleet Road turnoff. Continue up Longfleet Road past the hospital on your right. You will come to a second set of traffic lights with the Shah Of Persia public house on your left, continue stright over at those lights and up to a mini roundabout about another 200yds. Go straight over that roundabout and you will be on Constitution Hill Road. Continue right up that road until you see the mini roundabout at the very top of the hill. Viewpoint Guesthouse is situated directly to the left of that roundabout. If you are approaching from Bournemouth you need to get on the Wessex way. Continue right to the end of this road and you will see a set of lights with roundabout that actually has Liverpool Victoria Building on it. Go round the roundabout taking the 4th exit which brings you on to Poole Road. Continue right up this road around 1 mile you will pass Tescos on your left and eventually come to a roundabout, take the second exit and stay on the inside lane. You will immediately come to a second roundabout. You need to go straight over which will bring you on to the Ashley Road. Continue right to the end of this road which is about 1 mile long until you reach a mini roundabout. You will see that Viewpoint Guesthouse is situated right opposite the roundabout. |
