This attractive whitewashed cottage was built in 1840 for the local basket weaver, hence the name. In 1991, the present owners completely restored and refurbished the property and Weaver's Lodge is now an immaculate and well thought-out guesthouse retaining many of the original features such as beams, leaded windows and a recently exposed fireplace in the guest dining room.
The bright bedrooms are attractively decorated and the beds have warm duvets. All bedrooms have remote control colour TV and tea and coffee making facilities.
Evening meals are available by prior arrangement and if ordered the previous day, packed lunches can be provided.
Weaver's Lodge is situated on the B6540, on the edge of Castle Donington village and is very conveniently situated for Donington Park Race Circuit, East Midlands International Airport and the M1 and M42 motorway links. Due to its popularity, we advise guests to telephone in advance to make their reservation.
