Whychurch Farm is situated on the fringe of the ancient town of Malmesbury, whose historic settlement stands between two branches of the Bristol Avon around the site of a Saxon hill fort.

The area of this working farm can be seen on the ancient map of the town and to have formed part of its early history, one of the main house walls having been part of the old church. It is probable that it was farmed by the monks in the 11th and 12th century.

Whychurch Farm, Grounds, 7K

Mrs Weaver offers bed and breakfast accommodation from the lovely farmhouse and two converted outbuildings, which are self-contained with en-suite facilities and have their own private entrances.

All the accommodation is beautifully presented, with the delicious breakfasts being served in the main house, where Mrs Weaver has a wonderful collection of china, pottery and traditional furniture.

The farm is near the road with easy access and plenty of parking space, there are also plentyof restuarants and Inns serving food in the town and nearby villages, though we do advise booking ahead to avoid disappointment.
