Welcome to 'Woodpeckers', our bed and breakfast accommodation in Bradford on Avon, with ample private parking. Situated ½ a mile from the town centre on the B1307, in a peaceful location with ¼ acre of mature gardens, only 20 minutes from the centre of Bath.


Woodpeckers is situated in a quiet location in the quaint town of Bradford-on-Avon. The town is renowned for its beautiful setting, where both the River Avon and Kennet and Avon Canal run through the broad meadows of the Avon Valley.

We offer first-class accommodation. There are 2 double en-suites with their own sitting rooms (a third person can be accommodated in the sitting room) 2 twin/triple en suite rooms.

Bradford on Avon is ideal for short stays or for longer breaks, and there are many places of interest to visit.It is a most attractive small town, noted for its Saxon Church, Tithe Barn and ranks of stone houses clinging to the hillside overlooking the river, and the town-bridge with its medieval arches and lockup.

Take a guided walk and enjoy the view or hire a bike and ride the towpath of the Kennet & Avon Canal. Then relax in one of the pubs or restaurants for your lunch or evening dinner.

Visit the elegant Georgian City of Bath, where the bus and walking tours are very popular. Amongst the many interesting sights in Bath are the Roman Baths, Bath Abbey, Museum of Costume and the Royal Photographic Museum in Milsom Street.

You may also like to treat yourself and book an evening at the Theatre Royal.
