This museum, a branch of the Victoria and Albert Museum, is a must for lovers of theatre everywhere.

It traces 300 years of history of English theatre, has memorabilia from famous stage actors and actresses, exhibitions about stage direction, make-up and tricks of the trade, and the National Video Archive of Stage Performance.

There is also a booking service available where you can purchase tickets for West End shows.

The museum is open daily except Mondays from 11am to 6.30pm. Admission costs around £3.50 for adults.
