Friargate Museum | |
| Located in Lower Friargate, this waxwork museum contains dozens of effigies of York's past citizens. Among faces of people whose names you will recognise there may well be some you don't for this museum is unusual in that it contains waxworks of ordinary people as well as the more famous. The Friargate Museum is open daily from 10am to 4pm. Entry is around £3.50 for adults. |
