| You might be misled that this museum is about cars or engines, however it is actually about all things automated, in particular robots. Exhibits include gizmos and gadgets from through the ages, and robots from over 100 years ago right up until the modern day. All in all it is a fascinating insight into the field of robotics - a field that actually dates back to at least the 1st century. This museum is an absolute must for kids for there are dozens of buttons that need pressing to make things move, and you can even have a go at building your own robot. Located in Tower Street in the city centre, the Museum of Automata is open daily from 9.30am to 5.30pm. Entry costs around £4 for adults. |
